How Fundraising and Donations Help

Every year, more and more people are turning to us for help and your donation will help us ensure they receive the support they need. Money donated to Bromley & Lewisham Mind is put to use where the need is greatest.

Donations can help us provide:


By donating to Bromley & Lewisham Mind, you are helping to make sure that people with mental health problems and dementia get the support they need.

You can make a one-off payment or regular donation, securely online at our Just Giving page. You can select one of the small preset amounts or enter any other amount of your choice.

Give in Celebration

You could also support Bromley & Lewisham Mind at your special occasion: your wedding, birthday or anniversary. Motivated by family experiences of dementia, Christine, raised £640 celebrating her 80th birthday, asking for gifts of donation to the Bromley Dementia Support Hub in lieu of gifts for herself.

Give in Memory

Giving a gift in memory is a very special way to remember a loved one. It honours their memory while giving hope to others who have a mental health problems or dementia.

Leaving a Gift in your Will

Leaving a gift in your Will to Bromley & Lewisham Mind will help us plan ahead. Our plans to improve the quality of life for people with mental health problems and dementia are far reaching and, to be sure we can see them through, we need to know we will receive income in the future.

The family of one our MindCare Dementia Support clients donated money to fund a new garden reminiscence cabin at our centre in Beckenham, for people with dementia to enjoy the garden for years to come.

There are many ways you can get involved and raise money for Bromley & Lewisham Mind. You could organise a coffee morning, a raffle, or even a charity ball. You could do a sponsored run, cycle, exercise class or slim.

However you choose to help, money you raise will help us to continue to support local people with affected by mental health problems or dementia.

You can promote your fundraiser and collect money online by starting a Just Giving fundraising page.

The instructions are easy to follow and you can easily share the web page with your friends and family to start fundraising immediately. Donors can easily and securely donate money and leave messages of support for you.
