Bromley & Lewisham Mind are working in partnership with South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM) to develop an innovative new Primary Care Enhanced Mental Health Service for Lewisham.

The integrated team will provide support to people with long-term mental health problems within a primary care setting, helping people develop their independence, self-management skills and achieve their recovery goals.

We are looking for 2 x part time Peer Support Workers to work alongside Bromley & Lewisham Mind and SLaM colleagues to deliver this service.

The successful candidates will work as part of an integrated team to provide recovery-orientated peer support to people with long-term mental health problems and to equip and facilitate volunteers to undertake this work as well. Support may include mentoring, coaching, facilitating access to community activities and emotional support.
