  • 37.5 per week

Recently commissioned by the London Borough of Bromley and Bromley Clinical Commissioning Group, Bromley Third Sector Enterprise (BTSE) will be providing a new approach to supporting Bromley residents including:

  • Support of older people
  • Adults with long term health conditions
  • Adults with learning disabilities
  • Adults with physical disabilities
  • People with mental health issues
  • Carers

This is an exciting time to become part of the team at Bromley & Lewisham Mind as we work with our partners Age UK Bromley & Greenwich, Community Links Bromley, Citizens Advice Bromley and Bromley Mencap. We will deliver services for local people to help them maintain both their physical and mental health as well as their independence and employment opportunities.

About the role

As Senior Mental Health Information and Advice Worker, you will lead a small team and coordinate delivery across the borough with Bromley Third Sector Enterprise partner organisations. The team will work to enhance the quality of life, choice and opportunities for people with mild-moderate mental health problems by providing information, advice and support.

Requirements

Reporting to the Head of Services, you will have the experience of the following to make you stand out:

  • Providing recovery focused guidance and support
  • Supporting people with mental health problems
  • Planning and prioritising own workload, and working on own initiative
  • Managing a caseload and delivering to targets
  • Providing information and advice
  • Line managing staff including supervisions, appraisals and performance reviews
